US President Donald Trump has demanded “unconditional surrender” from Iran, the head of the White House wrote about this on the ‘Truth Social’ social network.
“However, we do not want missiles fired at civilians or American soldiers. Our patience is running out. ‘Unconditional surrender’!” Trump said.
On the night of June 13, the Israeli army launched a large-scale operation called “Rising Lion”. As part of this operation, the Air Force is striking military and nuclear program facilities in Iran.
The Israeli Air Force has carried out several attacks in various parts of Iran, including in Tehran, where several senior Iranian military officials were killed, including the Chief of General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces and the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, as well as a number of nuclear scientists.
Several nuclear facilities in the country, including Natanz and Fordow, were also hit, as were Iranian military positions in various parts of the country.
The Israel–Iran conflict saw alarming developments recently, with the U.S. edging closer to direct involvement. President Trump demanded the “unconditional surrender” of Tehran, claiming the U.S. now controls Iranian airspace and even has identified Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, whom he labeled an “easy target”, warning his patience is “running thin”
Vice President J.D. Vance echoed Trump’s messaging, suggesting further U.S. action against Iran’s nuclear program. Meanwhile, President Trump chaired a crisis-room meeting shortly after abruptly departing the G7 summit in Canada to return to Washington according to nypost.com.
American media reported that Washington is preparing to directly strike Iranian nuclear infrastructure —especially the Fordow facility in Qom, which is extremely difficult for Israel to destroy on its own due to its deep underground location.
Meanwhile, Israel intensified aerial strikes across Iran, targeting military bases and missile silos; Israeli command reported the assassination of Major-General Ali Shadmani, Iran’s “chief of staff” and key advisor to Khamenei.
In response, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards launched drone and missile attacks on Israeli targets in Tel Aviv and Haifa, while reporting strikes on Israeli intelligence infrastructure and civilian hubs.
IAEA has confirmed direct damage to Natanz’s underground centrifuge halls, with its power supply destroyed, crippling many centrifuges. Fordow appears largely intact.
With U.S. positioning for possible strikes, Trump’s demands for Iran’s “complete submission”, and mounting regional violence, the risk of the conflict expanding further is high.
Upcoming decisions from Washington, and Iran’s next moves — military, diplomatic, or otherwise —will shape whether this remains a limited confrontation or spirals into a broader war.
