Top cop, officer held for aiding escapes and forging documents

The Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of two officers from the Ministry of Interior, one of whom serves as the head of a police station. They are charged with enabling defendants, who had arrest and detention orders against them, to escape by allowing them to leave the police station and forging official documents, according to Al Qabas newspaper.

The Public Prosecution has interrogated the defendants and presented them with the charges, and the investigation is ongoing.
