Sunday first day of Eid al-Fitr

The Kuwaiti Sharia Sighting Authority announced today, Saturday, that the Shawwal crescent moon was sighted. Accordingly, tomorrow, Sunday, is the first day of Shawwal and the first day of Eid al-Fitr.

The Sharia Sighting Authority will meet this evening to seek the Shawwal crescent moon sighting for the Hijri year 1446. The Authority called on citizens or residents who have confirmed the sighting of the Shawwal crescent to contact the Authority on phone number 25376934.
