Thundery rainy stormy Saturday and Sunday

While the first signs of the rainy season fell on the country today, the Meteorology Department expected that the country’s weather, in general, during the weekend, will be moderate and partly cloudy during the day, and moderate to cold at night, with chances of scattered rain, sometimes thundery, starting from dawn the day after tomorrow, Saturday, until the dawn on Sunday.

Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, Director of the Meteorology Department, said that the country is under the influence of an extension of a high-pressure system on the surface of the earth that is gradually weakening.

This is accompanied by a low-pressure system in the upper layers of the atmosphere, which helps in the formation of low and medium clouds with chances of scattered rain with mostly northwesterly winds, light to moderate in speed, sometimes active.

Al-Qarawi added that the weather tomorrow, Friday, will be moderate, with northwesterly to variable winds, light to moderate in speed, between 8 and 28 kilometers per hour, and the expected maximum temperatures between 25 and 28 degrees Celsius.

Moreover, Al-Qarawi pointed out that the weather at night will be moderate to cold with a chance of scattered rain, and the expected minimum temperatures will be between 17 and 23 degrees Celsius.

Regarding the weather the day after tomorrow, Saturday, Al-Qarawi said that it will be partly cloudy with a chance of scattered rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder, and the expected maximum temperatures will be between 19 and 23 degrees Celsius.

Wrapping the weather predictions for this weekend, Al-Qarawi pointed out that the weather at night will be moderate to cold, with continued chances of rain that may be thundery, and the expected minimum temperatures will be between 16 and 22 degrees Celsius.
