Thousands gather in Mosques for first odd-numbered night of Ramadan

Across Kuwait, worshippers filled mosques on the first of Ramadan’s odd-numbered nights, performing night prayers and seeking divine blessings. With Friday night approaching and rain showering the country, the faithful embraced the spiritual atmosphere, hoping for God’s mercy and grace.
Moreover, worshippers of all ages and backgrounds, including citizens and residents, gathered at Ramadan centers and mosques across Kuwait, seeking the Night of Power and salvation during these sacred ten nights filled with prayers, supplication, and divine mercy.
The Mosques Sector at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, ensured a smooth and peaceful worship experience through extensive preparations, offering all necessary amenities for worshippers.
Importantly, the volunteer teams played a vital role in organizing prayer areas, providing refreshments, and enriching the atmosphere with religious reflections between rak’ahs.
Al-Rai reported on the Qiyam prayers at the Aqla Al-Dhafiri Mosque, a key Ramadan center in Jahra Governorate, known for attracting large crowds. The prayers are led by renowned Quran reciters whose melodious voices inspire awe among worshippers.
