Temperatures to drop again starting Wednesday; rainfall expected on Tuesday
Met forecast scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity across the country from Tuesday afternoon through the evening.

Meteorologist Fahad Al-Otaibi has stressed that the recent spell of warm daytime weather does not signal the end of winter, confirming that temperatures are set to decline again later this week.
Al-Otaibi said the noticeable warmth recorded over the past few days, particularly during daylight hours, is temporary.
He explained that temperatures will begin to fall starting Wednesday, following expected rainfall on Tuesday, with weather conditions gradually returning to their typical winter pattern.
The statement comes as the country witnesses a marked rise in daytime temperatures, reaching around 22°C in some areas.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department forecast scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity across the country from Tuesday afternoon through the evening.
According to the department, weather maps and numerical models show that Kuwait will be affected Monday evening by a surface low-pressure system combined with an upper-level low. This system will be accompanied by a warm and humid air mass, leading to increased low and medium cloud cover.
Winds are expected to be southeasterly, shifting to northwesterly, with speeds reaching up to 45 km/h, causing sea waves to rise above six feet. Weather conditions are forecast to gradually improve after midnight Tuesday, with decreasing cloud cover and lower chances of rain.
Temperatures ahead of the change are expected to range between 28°C and 30°C, with minimums between 10°C and 12°C. By Wednesday, a cooler air mass will push maximum temperatures down to 21°C–23°C, while minimums will range between 9°C and 11°C, marking a return to cooler winter conditions.
