TEF 2025 kicks off 6th technical seminar, opens registrations for EEA & TICE

The event marked the launch of registrations for two highly anticipated annual flagship events – the 9th Engineering Excellence Awards and the 16th Technological Innovations Conference & Exposition, both scheduled for October 9, 2025.

The Tamilnadu Engineers Forum, Kuwait (TEF) upheld its tradition of engineering excellence and professional growth by hosting its 6th Technical Seminar at Hotel Park Inn, Mahboula. The event also marked the launch of registrations for two highly anticipated annual flagship events – the 9th Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) and the 16th Technological Innovations Conference & Exposition (TICE), both scheduled for October 9, 2025.

A highlight of the evening was the official unveiling of the TICE & EEA 2025 event flyer, hosted by Engr. Gen Prasanna. TEF President Engr. Raja launched the flyer and formally opened registrations, emphasizing the significance of these hallmark events in celebrating innovation, excellence, and community engagement. He encouraged all members to participate actively and contribute to their success.

General Secretary Engr. Balasubramanian shared further details, offering insights into the lineup of special guests expected at the events. He urged members to promote registration across their professional networks to ensure wide participation.

The seminar began with a heartfelt rendition of “Tamilthaai Vaazhthu,” paying tribute to the Motherland. Highlighting TEF’s focus on member welfare, Engr. Pandian delivered the Safety Moment, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to maintaining the highest health and safety standards across all its events.

Continuing the tradition of intellectual enrichment, Engr. Anantha Raj V shared the “Thirukkural of the Day,” offering insightful interpretations of this timeless Tamil literary treasure to inspire wisdom and leadership among the audience.

The technical segment began with Engr. Satish Kumar introducing the first speaker, Mr. Anshul Tyagi, Regional Sales Manager, HYTROC, UAE. In his session titled “Overcoming Hand Injuries in the Oil & Gas Industry,” Mr. Tyagi highlighted safety innovations addressing one of the industry’s most pressing occupational hazards.

The second seminar, introduced by Engr. Parthian, featured Mr. Jayaraj Nair, Manager of the Machine Shop at Kuwait Engineering & Metal Machining Company. His presentation, “Metalock Cold Repair – A Unique Solution for Cast Iron Repair: Case Studies & Applications,” provided practical case-based insights into non-welded repair solutions, highly relevant for maintenance in critical industries.
An interactive Q&A session, moderated by Engr. Senthilkumar, allowed attendees to engage with the speakers, further enhancing the knowledge-sharing atmosphere.

The cultural essence of the evening was elevated by a special guest lecture introduced by Engr. Raj Narayanan. Mr. Avudaiyappan, a renowned journalist and public speaker from Tamil Nadu, delivered an inspiring talk titled “Pride of Tamil Nadu – Achievements That Inspire the Nation,” earning applause and admiration for highlighting Tamil Nadu’s accomplishments across various fields.

As a token of gratitude, the TEF team felicitated all guest speakers with ponnadai, garlands, and mementos, honoring their expertise and contributions.

The event was sponsored by M/s HYTROC and Kuwait Engineering & Metal Machining Company, with anchoring gracefully handled by Engr. Subbu and Engr. Reckston.

The evening concluded with a vote of thanks by Engr. Maniyarasu, acknowledging the sponsors, speakers, organizers, and attendees for making the event a resounding success. Members and guests then enjoyed a delightful dinner, providing an opportunity to network, connect, and celebrate the spirit of community and collaboration.
