
Kuwaiti systems company Tebyan announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Middle East Aircraft Engines Co. Ltd. (MEPC) on the sidelines of the Global Defense Exhibition held in Saudi Arabia from 8–12 February 2026. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation and expand partnership opportunities in the aircraft engine sector and specialized technical services.
Speaking on the occasion, Tebyan Chairman Najib Abdulaziz Al-Fulaij described the agreement as a key strategic step in the company’s vision to enhance its presence in the defense and aviation industries. He emphasized the importance of sharing expertise and localizing advanced technologies to benefit the regional economy.
Tebyan CEO Sheikha Badriya Hamad Al-Sabah highlighted that the MoU opens new horizons for technical and engineering collaboration, strengthens specialized service systems in the aircraft engine sector, and paves the way for joint projects that enhance regional integration and elevate technical readiness.
The Global Defense Exhibition, organized by the Saudi General Authority for Military Industries, showcases the latest global technological advancements across land, sea, air, space, and security domains, providing a premier international platform for forging strategic partnerships and exploring joint cooperation opportunities.
The MoU establishes a framework for strategic collaboration including technical integration, knowledge transfer, advanced technical training programs, and the development of aircraft engine maintenance and support services, enhancing operational capabilities and supporting the sustainable growth objectives of both companies.
