Tapestry of Talent: FAIPS–DPS celebrates diversity and creativity at Annual Day 2025

Grade 3 students illuminate Annual Day with ‘The Joy of Mosaic’ cultural fiesta

Fahaheel Al-Watanieh Indian Private School (FAIPS–DPS) came alive with color and excitement on Thursday, November 27, 2025, as Grade 3 students presented their much-awaited annual day program. Held in the school auditorium, the event unfolded as a vibrant showcase of talent and creativity under the theme “The Joy of Mosaic.”

The program commenced with solemn grace and respect for the host nation, beginning with the Kuwait National Anthem, followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran.

The ceremonial lamp was lit with reverence, its glow symbolizing knowledge and the triumph of light over darkness, setting a dignified atmosphere for the celebration.

The Principal, Ravi Ayanoli, warmly welcomed the esteemed guests of the day — the Chief Guest, His Excellency Jose A. Cabrera III, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the State of Kuwait, and the Guest of Honor, Ms. Taiba Ahmed Al-Qatami, former head of the Foreign Books Proofreading Department.

Their presence added prestige to the occasion. In his welcome address, he praised the tireless dedication of teachers and students and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support of parents. His words reinforced the spirit of collaboration and collective achievement that defines the FAIPS-DPS community.

Ambassasor Cabrera III, expressed gratitude to the school and its management for the invitation, highlighting the nurturing and inclusive environment where children of diverse nationalities flourish.

He outlined three key reflections — education as a shared responsibility, discipline guided by compassion and the importance of fostering creativity and curiosity.

He noted that when these values are embraced by both schools and families, they help children grow into confident, responsible, and compassionate individuals prepared for the future.

The program then transitioned into the eagerly anticipated cultural segment, which illuminated the stage with vibrant creativity.

The performances opened with an engaging skit that introduced parents to the theme, “The Joy of Mosaic.” This was followed by a calming musical interlude — ‘Threads of Harmony,’ featuring songs in multiple languages, and ‘Rhythmic Wonders,’ a delightful Hindi number that set a warm and uplifting mood for the evening.

The momentum built as ‘Symphony of Stars’ captured the audience’s heartbeat with their harmonious presentation. Under the title ‘Blaze Renaissance,’ the children paid tribute to scientists whose hard work and determination have made life easier, expressing gratitude through their performance. ‘Grooving Powers’ then electrified the atmosphere with a power-packed, energetic display that enthralled the audience.

The celebration continued with ‘Sway of the Seasons,’ which showcased the beauty of all four seasons through graceful movements and vibrant expressions. Parents were transported back in time as the team ‘The Return of the Pharaohs’ unfolded dramatically and captivatingly.

The theme of cultural unity was further enriched by “Echoes of Continents,” blending traditions from around the world into a colorful mosaic on stage.

The Arabic performance ‘One Land, One Heart’ conveyed the message of unity and belonging. In contrast, ‘Beyond the Beats’ concluded the cultural extravaganza with an energetic and dynamic performance that left the audience cheering.

The celebration drew to a graceful close with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Seema Bhatnagar, Headmistress of the Primary Department. As the final words of gratitude lingered in the air, the afternoon stood as a radiant mosaic — each child a shining piece, each performance a vibrant hue — together reflecting the spirit of FAIPS-DPS, where dreams, talents, and cultures unite in joy.
