Tamim Al-Madani, Chargé d’Affaires at the Syrian Embassy in Kuwait, affirmed that the embassy is operating as usual, highlighting its collaboration with the interim government team in Damascus.

He added in a statement to Al-Rai newspaper that passport renewal services are suspended for two or more days “due to the closure of the Department of Passports and Immigration in Damascus.”

He noted that the Syrian Arab Republic is turning a new page in its history, aiming to establish a covenant and a national charter that unites Syrians, fostering unity instead of division. This effort seeks to build a homeland founded on justice and equality, where everyone enjoys full rights and duties, with citizenship as its cornerstone. He expressed his hope that Syria will achieve stability and safety.
