Switzerland congratulates Kuwait on the occasion of National & Liberation days
On the occasion of the National Day and the Liberation Day of Kuwait, I would like to express on behalf of the Swiss government our very best wishes to the Amir, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to the Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, to the Government and all the people of and in Kuwait.
Our two countries will celebrate in 2026 the 60th anniversary of our diplomatic relations and we are proud of our long-standing friendship. Kuwait and its people are free and peaceful. They shine in this world also for their long and important tradition of promoting dialogue and building bridges with and among all members of the international community. This is an invaluable contribution in today’s world by the Kuwaiti authorities and citizens, which takes different forms: diplomacy, trade and investment, tourism and broader cultural relations. Also for this reason: happy celebrations, peace and prosperity for Kuwait, its friendly people and the entire region!
