Suspicious boats follow movement of ship off the coast of Kuwait

A British maritime authority announced on Tuesday that it had received a report about 3 boats tracking a ship off the coast of Kuwait.

The authority said 3 boats followed a ship off the coast of Kuwait for an hour and that each of the three boats had two people on board, but no weapons or uniformed personnel appeared on them.

The authority added that the ship’s captain informed the authority that small boats followed his ship for an hour, at a distance of less than a nautical mile, indicating that the ship and its crew were safe.

The British Navy advised ships passing through the area to be cautious and to report any suspicious activity.
