Supreme Committee meets to review citizenship linked to dual nationality and forgery
The Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Investigation, chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, convened today to review cases related to nationality status.
In a press statement, the committee announced its decision to revoke and withdraw Kuwaiti citizenship in several instances to be submitted to the Council of Ministers for approval, reports Al-Rai.
These cases include dual nationality, withdrawal of citizenship obtained through fraud or false statements, and withdrawal of citizenship granted for distinguished deeds.
The decisions come as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the integrity of Kuwaiti citizenship and uphold the principles of transparency and justice in nationality matters.
