The Juvenile Prosecution surveyed 300 children, regardless of their legal status, who appeared before it between September and December 2024. The study aimed to assess the prevalence of school violence and its impact as part of efforts to strengthen legal and social protections for children, Al Rai newspaper reported.
The Public Prosecution stated that this initiative is part of its efforts to enhance cooperation between relevant authorities, raise awareness about the dangers of violence and its effects on children, and monitor the reality of violence in schools from the perspective of children themselves.
The goal is to understand its dimensions, engage children in expressing their experiences and opinions, and contribute to finding effective preventive solutions that ensure a more stable educational environment.
