Student Excellence Award ceremony honors top achievers in Kuwait
In a heartwarming celebration of academic brilliance, the Islamic Women’s Association (IWA) Kuwait, in collaboration with Students India Kuwait, hosted the Student Excellence Award Distribution Ceremony at the Oxford English School in Abbasiya.
The event was held to recognize and honor the outstanding achievements of students who excelled in the 10th and 12th CBSE Board Examinations.
Around 100 students were awarded for their exceptional academic performance. The awards were presented to both overall toppers and subject-wise toppers from among the registered candidates, acknowledging their dedication and hard work in reaching academic excellence.
The ceremony witnessed a large turnout of representatives from various cultural, social, and educational organizations in Kuwait.
Esteemed guests who took part in presenting the awards included Dr. Ameer Ahmed, Munawwar Mohammed, Abdul Aziz, Abdurrahman, Shafas, Mohammed Rafi, Afzal Khan, Kiran Reddy, Muna, Fatima, Naureen Naushad, Dr. Susovana Sujith Nair, Shiny Frank, Shilpa Mohanan, Dr. Shamima, Dr. Jubi Leo, Simi Baiju, Dr. Tasneem, Jasina, Anu, Dr. Neetu Mariam Chacko, Samiya Faisal, Faisal Manjeri, Warda Anwar, Mehbooba Anees, Firoz Hameed, Anwar Saeed, Sabikh Yusuf, Sijil Khan, Najma Sharif, Murad Anwar Saeed, and Hayyan Naseem.
The program was presided over by IWA President Samiya Faisal, while Faisal Manjeri, Acting President of Kuwait India Group (KIG), formally inaugurated the event.
In his inspirational inaugural address, Faisal Manjeri emphasized the lifelong importance of education, describing it as a transformative journey from birth to death. He stressed that the true purpose of education is to shape individuals who uphold strong values and cultural integrity.
Murad Anwar Saeed, President of Students India, delivered the welcome address, acknowledging the hard work of students, the support of their families, and the encouragement of teachers.
Aysha Faisal, the Program Convener, delivered a keynote speech highlighting the importance of recognizing student accomplishments and coordinated the smooth execution of the award distribution.
Adding a touch of music and joy to the evening, Saiba Anees and Aswa Khalid captivated the audience with their soulful musical performances. The program began with a Qiraat recitation by Nawal Farheen, setting a spiritual tone for the occasion.
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Firoz Hameed, General Secretary of KIG, who expressed gratitude to all participants, guests, volunteers, and organizers for making the ceremony a success.
The Student Excellence Award Ceremony was not only a celebration of academic success but also a reflection of the community’s collective commitment to nurturing the next generation of scholars and leaders.
