The Council of Public Universities has approved a memorandum suspending student election activities at all levels in Kuwaiti and international universities, colleges, and other educational institutions, according to Al Qabas newspaper.

Hiba Al-Shati, Secretary-General of the Council of Public Universities, stated after a council meeting that the suspension of student election activities results from a deviation from the primary objectives of these union activities.
