‘Stay away from designated areas’ during live-fire military exercises

The Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations of the Army has issued a statement warning all sea-goers, including fishing and recreational enthusiasts, that the Air Force and Navy will conduct live-fire exercises on Monday and Tuesday, November 24-25, 2025, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The exercises will take place 16.5 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Julaia extending to Qaruh Island, and 6 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Zour extending to Umm Al-Maradim Island, reports Al-Rai daily.

The directorate has urged all citizens and residents to stay clear of these areas during the announced times to ensure their safety, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the warning and avoiding any potential risks from the military drills.
