Spring rains expected to continue until April end

The Al-Ajari Scientific Center announced today that Kuwait has entered the second phase of the Dhraan season, known as the “Moakher Star”, which will extend for 13 days.

In its statement, the Center explained that the “Moakher Star” is the fourth house of spring, beginning annually on April 16. This period is marked by mild nighttime temperatures and rising afternoon heat, reports Al-Jarida daily.

The Center noted that spring rains are expected to continue during this phase, with the possibility of rainfall lasting until the end of April. Additionally, northerly winds typically blow during this time, coinciding with the migration of small birds, particularly turtledoves, returning in large numbers to their native habitats.
