The Speaker of the National Assembly, Ahmed Al-Saadoun, has announced a special public session to be held on Monday, January 29. The session is scheduled for ten in the morning and will witness the swearing-in of the Deputy Emir, H.H Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Al-Sabah, as well as the constitutional oath-taking of the ministers, reported Al-Qabas Daily.
The invitation for the session, which was received by the members of the National Assembly, outlined the agenda for the event. The items on the agenda include the recitation of Emiri orders and decrees pertaining to the formation of the Ministry, in accordance with Article 68 of the National Assembly’s internal regulations.
Additionally, ministers who are not members of the National Assembly will take the constitutional oath as stipulated in Article 91 of the Constitution. This important oath-taking ceremony solidifies their commitment to upholding the principles and duties outlined by the Constitution.
