Spandanam Association hosts Iftar gathering
The Spandanam Association & Cultural Organization Kuwait organized a Ramadan Iftar gathering at Mangaf Dreams Hall, bringing together members of the community in a spirit of unity and reflection. The event was presided over by Association President Biju Bhavans.
The chief guest, Loka Kerala Sabha member Sathar Kunnil, highlighted the spiritual importance of Ramadan and the values promoted through fasting.
He noted that fasting strengthens self-discipline, patience, and self-reflection, while encouraging compassion and sharing by helping individuals understand the value of hunger and food.
Founder member of GKPA and social activist Mubarack Kambrath stressed the importance of preserving social harmony and encouraged expatriates to enroll in welfare pension schemes offered through NORKA.
General Secretary Reji Kumar welcomed attendees to the gathering. Greetings were delivered by Menish Vaas, former Secretary of the Wayanad Association, and Shanavas Basheer, KL Kuwait Media reporter.
Organization Chairman John Mathew, along with Uthaman, Sajini, Vasanthakumari, and Thulasirani, also addressed the gathering. Susan Jose delivered the vote of thanks.
