South Amghara Scrapyard under spotlight

Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalifa Al-Ajeel has underscored the national responsibility to safeguard Kuwait’s commercial and industrial sectors.

Following a sweeping inspection campaign in the South Amghara scrapyard area, he stressed the importance of strict and fair law enforcement.

The multi-agency effort, according to reports, which included the Kuwait Fire Force, uncovered numerous violations and led to the closure of several non-compliant ‘establishments.

Al-Ajeel affirmed that inspections will persist to restore order, combat illegal practices, and ensure a secure, regulated industrial environment.
