Son slits 70-year-old mother’s throat in Saad Al Abdullah area
The suspect blocked paramedics from reaching his mother after his sister called for help, fled when police arrived, but was later caught by authorities, who recovered the murder weapon.
A young man fatally slit the throat of his 70-year-old mother in the Saad Al Abdullah area, in the presence of one of his sisters, a security source told Al Jarida newspaper.
According to the source, the suspect prevented paramedics from reaching his mother after his sister had contacted them. He fled upon seeing police patrols but was later apprehended by security forces following a chase. The murder weapon was recovered in his possession.
