HONG KONG CHINA 125/9 (20) KUWAIT 127/7 (18.5)
KUWAIT WON BY 3 WICKETS.
In a competitive fourth T20I of the Bauhinia Falcon Trophy 2026 Presented by Sky Warriors, the Kuwait national cricket team produced a spirited performance against the Hong Kong China national cricket team.
Batting first, Hong Kong China managed 125/9 in their 20 overs. Babar Hayat (30 off 25) and Anshuman Rath (26 off 21) built useful partnerships, but Kuwait’s disciplined bowling attack ensured the total remained within reach. Mohamed Aslam (2/17) and Naveenraj Rajendran (2/22) were clinical with the ball, while Meet Bhavsar’s outstanding 2/2 in a single over applied crucial pressure during the middle phase.

Chasing 126, Kuwait had early setbacks but found stability through a seasoned and calm knock from Mohamed Aslam. The experienced all-rounder anchored the innings superbly with an unbeaten 47 off 34 balls, blending composure with controlled aggression. Bilal Tahir’s quickfire 21 off 13 provided momentum, and a late flourish from Naveenraj Rajendran ensured Kuwait crossed the line at 127/7 in 18.5 overs.

For his composed match-winning performance, Mohamed Aslam was named Player of the Match, while his consistent contributions across the series earned him the Player of the Series award.
With the T20I leg concluded, Hong Kong China clinched the inaugural Bauhinia Falcon Trophy 2026 (2-1).
Attention now turns to the 50-over format as both sides prepare to meet again in three List A One-Day matches starting from 3rd March.
