Six Kuwaiti officers graduate from Jordan’s Royal Defense College

Six officers from the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense graduated on Wednesday from the Royal Jordanian National Defense College, completing the 22nd National Defense Course and the 8th Master’s Program in Strategies for Confronting Extremism and Terrorism. The programs, which drew participants from various Arab and foreign countries, aim to build strategic and academic capabilities in defense and security fields.

The graduation ceremony was held under the patronage of King Abdullah II of Jordan, represented by Major General Yousef Huneiti, Chief of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces. Attendees included Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Hamad Al-Marri and Kuwaiti Military Attaché Brigadier General Pilot Mohammed Al-Ayadah.

In remarks to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Ambassador Al-Marri praised the deep-rooted ties between Kuwait and Jordan, describing their bilateral relations as a model of close cooperation across all sectors, particularly in education and defense. He underscored Kuwait’s commitment to strengthening military cooperation with Jordan in pursuit of shared strategic interests.

Al-Marri also congratulated the Kuwaiti graduates on their academic achievement and dedication during the course, wishing them continued success in serving their country and contributing to the professionalism of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces.

The program included participants from various branches of the Jordanian Armed Forces and security agencies, along with officers from other regional and international military institutions, reflecting its growing importance in countering regional and global threats.
