Six convicted in drug-planting case targeting Lebanese doctor
The court sentenced six, including officers and a Kuwaiti doctor, to five years and KD 5,000 fine for framing Imad Saab.

The Criminal Court had given a ten year sentence to a detective, a junior officer, and the main perpetrators in the case against Dr. Imad Saab, while acquitting a sergeant, a dentist, and a secretary.
The Court of Cassation sentenced two military officers, a Kuwaiti doctor, an Iraqi expatriate, and two stateless individuals to five years in prison and a fine of KD 5,000 for kidnapping and planting drugs on Lebanese doctor Imad Saab to falsely accuse him of drug trafficking, reported Al Rai newspaper.
