At least four people were killed and two others injured in a mass shooting at Or Tor Kor Market in Bangkok’s Chatuchak district on Monday, according to Thai state media.
The shooter reportedly turned the gun on himself after carrying out the deadly attack, bringing the total number of deaths to five, including the suspect.
Among the deceased were three security personnel and one market vendor, Thai PBS confirmed in its report.
An official investigation is underway to determine the motive behind the deadly incident, as police continue gathering evidence at the scene.
