
The joint committee, led by Kuwait’s Oil Undersecretary Sheikh Dr. Nimr Al-Sabah and Saudi Assistant Minister of Energy Mohammed Al-Ibrahim, discussed strategic plans, obstacles, and use of advanced technologies in Wafra and Khafji operations.
The committee praised the discovery in the Wara-Burgan field, where oil flows exceeded 500 barrels/day, as a testament to strong bilateral cooperation and national technical expertise, reports Al-Rai daily.
The meeting covered progress reports, emergency preparedness, and long-term sustainability goals to benefit future generations.
Sheikh Nimr highlighted the importance of ongoing meetings, training for national workers, and deepening collaboration with the Saudi Ministry of Energy to support future petroleum projects.
