Sheikh Faisal Al-Nawaf inspects Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Center

Deputy Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Faisal Al-Nawaf conducted an inspection tour of the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Center for Chemical Defense and Radiological Monitoring, reaffirming the National Guard’s commitment to supporting Kuwait’s national security and environmental protection efforts.
During the visit, Sheikh Faisal emphasized that the center operates in coordination with various state agencies to serve Kuwait’s strategic goals. He noted that this initiative aligns with the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, reports Al-Rai daily.
He highlighted that the center is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and precision instruments designed for advanced chemical and radiological threat detection. Its responsibilities include operating fixed monitoring stations, conducting field reconnaissance patrols, measuring contamination levels, and responding to incidents involving radioactive leaks.
Sheikh Faisal praised the center’s role in safeguarding the nation’s environment and public health, stressing its importance in Kuwait’s broader framework for emergency preparedness and crisis management.
