Sheikh Faisal Al-Hamoud urges youth to reflect Kuwait’s values during summer holidays

Advisor to the Amiri Diwan, Sheikh Faisal Al-Hamoud, has called on Kuwaiti youth to spend their summer vacations in positive, purposeful, and enjoyable ways, stressing the value of engaging in meaningful activities that contribute to personal growth and prevent the spread of negative behavior.

Speaking on the importance of constructive recreation, Al-Hamoud emphasized that entertainment should not conflict with ambition or discipline, encouraging young people to use their free time to develop their personalities, refine their talents, and strengthen their moral compass, according to Al-Rai daily.

“Young people are the pillars of the nation’s future,” he said. “They carry the responsibility of development, progress, and nation-building. Investing in their potential is a form of sustainable development that drives the prosperity of societies.”

Al-Hamoud reminded the young men that when traveling abroad, they are ambassadors of their homeland, representing not only themselves but also Kuwait’s identity, culture, and values. He urged them to act with integrity, respect local laws, and project a positive image of their country.

He also addressed behavior during local outings, particularly visits to shopping malls, calling on young people to demonstrate good manners and uphold authentic Kuwaiti customs and traditions.

He stressed that the entire society shares the responsibility of fostering awareness and guiding the younger generation toward responsible citizenship.

Sheikh Faisal Al-Hamoud reiterated the importance of positive role models and the need to cultivate a generation that is both proud of its heritage and prepared to lead Kuwait into a brighter future.
