Sheikh Fahad begins official visit to Lebanon for high-level talks

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, arrived in Beirut on Sunday for an official visit during which he is scheduled to meet with senior Lebanese officials.

Upon his arrival at Rafic Hariri International Airport, Sheikh Fahad and his accompanying delegation were received by Lebanese Minister of Interior Ahmad Al-Hajjar, Kuwaiti Chargé d’Affaires to Lebanon Counselor Yassin Al-Majed, and members of the Kuwaiti Embassy staff, reports Al-Rai daily.

The visit underscores Kuwait’s ongoing commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing security and diplomatic cooperation with Lebanon.

Earlier in the day, Sheikh Fahad departed Kuwait accompanied by a delegation of senior officials. He was seen off at Kuwait International Airport by Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Major General Ali Al-Adwani, Chargé d’Affaires of the Lebanese Embassy in Kuwait Mia Al-Adham, and several high-ranking security officials.

The official itinerary is expected to include meetings focused on regional security coordination, counterterrorism efforts, and enhancing bilateral collaboration across various fields.
