Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef inspects new security and traffic plans

The First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior inspected the plan to intensify traffic campaigns and deploy checkpoints in various areas to enforce security and control violators.

Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, stressed the need to increase the presence of traffic officers on various roads and vital intersections to address legal violations and practices that endanger the safety of drivers and road users.

Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, conducted an inspection visit to the Operations Department of the General Directorate of Traffic in South Al-Sabah on Friday. He was accompanied by Major General Yousuf Hamdan Al-Khida, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Traffic and Operations, according to Al Rai newspaper.

Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef was briefed on the progress of work in the Central Control Operations Room and reviewed the role of traffic monitoring cameras in tracking traffic on main roads and intersections.

He also examined the process of registering indirect violations. Additionally, he inspected the Ministry of Interior’s plan to intensify security and traffic campaigns and deploy checkpoints in various areas to enforce security and control violators.

He stressed the need to increase the presence of traffic officers on various roads and vital intersections to address legal violations and practices that endanger the safety of drivers and road users.
