Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdulla tipped to head new government

News about the possibility of assigning Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah to form the new government was reported by Al Rai daily

Earlier Al-Qabas newspaper reported that it had learnt from a reliable source that His Highness Sheikh Dr. Mohamed Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, apologized for accepting the premiership of the next government.

On Sunday, an order was issued for the Amir to accept the resignation of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, and Ministers. Each of them will continue to handle the urgent affairs of their positions until the new ministry is formed.

Additionally, an Amiri decree was issued on Sunday, calling for the elected National Assembly to convene on April 17.
