Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Center launches summer camps for children and youth

The Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Center has announced the launch of its annual “Summer Camp” program for children aged 5 to 12, alongside the “Empowering Future Youth Leadership Camp” for adolescents aged 13 to 16.

These initiatives are part of the center’s continued academic efforts to enhance the skills and capabilities of the next generation in an engaging, interactive learning environment.

In a statement to KUNA, the center affirmed that the programs, starting June 29, reflect its mission as a cultural institution contributing to capacity-building and skills development. The goal is to create an educational experience aligned with Kuwait’s aspirations for a knowledge- and innovation-driven economy.

The children’s summer camp offers a variety of scientific, artistic, and cultural workshops, alongside recreational and educational activities designed to stimulate creativity, critical thinking, and social interaction.

Meanwhile, the Youth Leadership Camp targets teenagers and focuses on leadership, entrepreneurship, strategic thinking, and teamwork, in alignment with the New Kuwait 2035 Vision. The program seeks to prepare young participants for future leadership roles through immersive, high-quality learning modules.

The center stressed that the summer programs are designed to enrich school holidays with meaningful and enjoyable educational content, conducted under the highest safety and quality standards.
