Shariah Authority to meet on March 29 for Shawwal moon sighting

The Sharia Sighting Authority announced it will convene on March 29 to observe the crescent moon marking the start of Shawwal for the Hijri year 1446, Al Rai newspaper reported.

The authority urged citizens and residents who sight the crescent to contact them at 25376934, with the meeting set to take place at the Supreme Council of the Judiciary.
