Security sweep nets 52 residency violators, three bootleggers

The Public Security Sector of the Farwaniya Security Directorate, carried out a security campaign at the Friday Market, resulting in the arrest of 52 violators of residence and labor laws.

According to security sources, a report with the names of the violators has been submitted to the concerned department to refer those arrested to the deportation center.

In a separate incident, Farwaniya CID men have arrested three expatriates at different locations for manufacturing and selling locally-manufactured booze.

They were arrested in Hassawi and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh in possession of a total of 23 bottles of alcohol ready for sale.

During interrogation the bootleggers have admitted to the charges filed against them. They will be deported and blacklisted from entering #Kuwait.
