Security officials inspect Hussainiyas to ensure safety during Muharram

Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for the Special Security Sector, Major General Abdullah Saffah, along with the Director General of the Special Forces, Brigadier General Dukhail Al-Dukhail, went on inspection tours of several Hussainiyas (Shiite congregation halls).

The visits were to assess security preparedness and review the operations of the teams responsible for safeguarding religious gatherings held in various schools, reports Al-Rai daily.

This tour comes in line with the directives of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, emphasizing the importance of monitoring the situation during the month of Muharram.

The minister stressed the need for full presence and commitment from all Ministry of Interior personnel tasked with protecting citizens and residents as they observe their religious rituals safely and peacefully.

He also underscored the strict enforcement of laws against any violations and the provision of all necessary comfort and support to ensure a secure environment.
