Security crackdown in Bneid Al-Qar; 19 persons arrested, 474 citations issued

An extensive security and traffic campaign conducted by the Ministry of Interior in the Bneid Al-Qar yesterday resulted in the issuance of 474 traffic violations and the arrest of 19 individuals for a range of legal infractions.

Among those arrested were five individuals for violating residency and labor laws, seven wanted in connection with pending cases, two without a valid driver’s license, two listed as absconders, and two others wanted in connection with criminal offenses, reports Al-Rai daily.

Additionally, one person was referred to the traffic police, two vehicles wanted by the judiciary were seized, and a motorcycle was impounded for traffic-related offenses.

The campaign was carried out in coordination with the Traffic and Operations Affairs Sector, including participation from the General Traffic Department, the General Department of Emergency Police, the Central Operations Department and the Women’s Police Unit.
