Security campaign in Ahmadi results in 97 traffic violations and multiple arrests

The Ahmadi Governorate Security Directorate conducted an extensive security campaign across several areas of the governorate, which resulted in the arrest of violators of residency and labor laws, and those who violated public safety and overall security.
In a statement, the Ministry of Interior confirmed that the campaign led to the issuance of 97 traffic violations, the arrest of several street vendors and undocumented workers, including eight violators of labor and residency laws.
Authorities also reported the arrest of a beggar, the arrest of two individuals with expired residency permits, and eight others reported absconding by their sponsors.
Additionally, one person was detained for attempting to enter the country illegally, and two for not holding identification documents.
The campaign further resulted in the arrest of a person found in an abnormal condition and in possession of suspected narcotic substances. In coordination with the Kuwait Municipality, three illegal and unlicensed sites were also shut down.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing field operations to apprehend law violators and strengthen public security, emphasizing that such efforts play a vital role in maintaining safety and order across all regions of Kuwait.
