Sea-goers avoid BRAVO Maritime Zone, police live-fire exercise set for July 12–14
The Ministry of Interior has announced that the Directorate-General of the Police Aviation Wing will conduct a live-fire training exercise at the maritime BRAVO site, located between Ouha Island and Kubbar Island.
The exercise will take place from July 12 to 14, 2026, between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., covering airspace from 3,000 feet down to sea level.
According to the ministry, the exercise is part of its approved training program designed to enhance operational readiness, improve the efficiency of aircrews, and strengthen their ability to carry out missions in line with the highest safety and security standards.
The Ministry of Interior has advised fishermen, boat owners, and all sea-goers to avoid the designated exercise area during the scheduled hours and to follow official safety instructions to ensure public safety.
