Saudi delegation gets firsthand knowhow of AI-powered traffic monitoring technologies

A security delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visited the Security Operations Department of Kuwait’s General Traffic Department on Sunday, as part of the ongoing security cooperation between the two countries.

According to a statement posted by the General Traffic Department on the X platform, the Saudi delegation was received by the Central General Department of Operations, reports Al-Anba daily.

The visit focused on exchanging experiences and exploring advanced road monitoring systems, particularly artificial intelligence-powered traffic cameras and procedures for handling emergency reports received by the Ministry of Interior’s operations center.

The visit reflects the strong security ties and mutual interest in enhancing coordination and leveraging technology to strengthen operational efficiency in both countries’ interior ministries.
