Saudi Arabia pledges full support to Kuwait in road development
Engineer Bader Al-Dulami, Saudi Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics for Road Affairs, stated, “We bring a message from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to fully support Kuwait and share our extensive expertise in roads and maintenance.”

• Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, Minister of Public Works, emphasized that the visit of a delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Transport and Logistics for Road Affairs reaffirms the strong ties between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. She noted that it would create new opportunities for cooperation, mutual benefit, and the exchange of expertise.
Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, the Minister of Public Works, announced that Kuwait, through the ministry and the Public Authority for Roads & Transportation, has entered a new phase of comprehensive road maintenance contracts. She expressed hope for collaboration and experience-sharing with brotherly countries in this field, Al Rai newspaper reported.
On the sidelines of receiving a delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Transport and Logistics for Road Affairs, Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan emphasized that the visit reaffirms the strong ties between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. She noted that it would open new avenues for cooperation, mutual benefit, and experience exchange.
For his part, Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics for Road Affairs, Engineer Bader Al-Dulami, stated, “We bring a message from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to fully support Kuwait and share our extensive expertise in roads and maintenance.”
“We are here to exchange knowledge, and Kuwait has developed excellent expertise in road maintenance, particularly in recent decades. Together, we will work to maximize the benefits,” he added.
Meanwhile, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works, Eid Al-Rashidi, welcomed the delegation, stressing that such visits further strengthen bilateral relations.
He highlighted that the visit provides an opportunity to gain insights, particularly in contracting processes and mechanisms. “During the meeting, we will outline the steps we have taken in the newly signed maintenance contracts, which are now in the implementation phase,” he said.
