Saravanaa Bhavan Kuwait tastes glory, named among world’s top five Indian restaurants

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India has awarded the prestigious Annapoorna Award (Certificate) 2025 to Saravanaa Bhavan Kuwait.
The award ceremony took place on 9th April 2025 in New Delhi, where the Director General of ICCR presented the award to Dr. Ananthi Natarajan in the presence of External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar during the 75th year celebration of ICCR. This momentous occasion highlighted the unwavering dedication of Saravanaa Bhavan Kuwait in promoting the finest of authentic Indian cuisine and the rich cultural heritage of India.
Saravanaa Bhavan Kuwait’s exceptional culinary excellence has earned it a place among the top five Indian restaurants worldwide, standing tall out of 160 distinguished restaurants shortlisted globally. This remarkable achievement reflects not only its commitment to authenticity but also its role as a cultural ambassador, bridging diverse communities through food.
The Annapoorna Award consists of a Certificate of Excellence and a statue of Annapoorani, a symbol of India’s profound culinary legacy.
