Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. is poised to redefine mobile experiences with the unveiling of Galaxy AI at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024, igniting excitement as the event launches in Barcelona, Spain.
Attendees visiting the Samsung booth will immerse themselves in hands-on experiences with Galaxy AI across the entire Galaxy product lineup, with a focal point on the groundbreaking Galaxy S24 series, heralding a new era of mobile AI.
Furthermore, Galaxy AI’s reach will extend across the Samsung portfolio, delivering enhanced productivity with the Galaxy Book4 series, intelligent health features with the Galaxy Watch6 series, and the debut showcase of the Galaxy Ring.
TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, expressed, “Our latest Galaxy products and innovations unlock the power of mobile AI to empower users in their everyday lives, opening up new possibilities.” He continued, “At MWC this year, we’re thrilled to showcase Galaxy AI across our portfolio, including the Galaxy S24 series, demonstrating the immense capability of these devices in shaping a smarter, more connected future.”
Introducing a new era of mobile AI
Samsung will present the AI features of the Galaxy S24 series that empower users’ communication and creativity, brought to life in everyday scenarios at the booth. This includes features such as Live Translate, powered by on-device AI for two-way, real-time translations of phone calls that defy language barriers.
Circle to Search with Google enables quick and easy, more intuitive searching to make new discoveries with just a simple gesture. Also on display will be Note Assist, which simplifies and organizes complex texts, as well as Generative Edit, which allows a user to freely resize or reposition subjects within photos for more creative freedom.
Samsung has also set up an area for visitors to experience the impressive camera capabilities of the Galaxy S24 series. The space, designed to resemble a dim concert hall, allows users to capture close-up shots of small objects placed on stage, showcasing the enhanced Nightography features of the Galaxy S24 series, now more stable in low light conditions thanks to Galaxy’s AI-based ProVisual Engine.
These Galaxy AI capabilities are set to expand to existing Galaxy models, including the Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series, as well as the Galaxy S23 series and S23 FE. Moreover, Samsung offered individuals the opportunity to personally experience enhanced productivity with the globally launched Galaxy Book4 series, which debuted on February 26.
Displayed at the Samsung booth, connectivity features on Galaxy devices will demonstrate how users can seamlessly elevate productivity, including easy transfer and editing of photos and videos between the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Book4, and Galaxy Tab S9.
Enhanced wellness experiences driven by AI
Samsung will showcase its intelligent health lineup at MWC, providing users with enhanced and seamless health experiences through the transformative capabilities of AI, across a broader range of devices. Among these offerings, Galaxy Ring will debut as a novel health form factor, streamlining daily wellness routines and promoting smarter and healthier living through an integrated digital wellness platform – Samsung Health.
Samsung is also set to showcase upcoming intelligent health features. For example, My Vitality Score offers personalized health insights based on multiple factors including Sleep, Activity, Heart Rate and Heart Rate Variability, while Booster Card helps make each day healthier by tracking predefined goals and delivering actionable insights. Visitors will be able to see the benefits of these features on Galaxy Watch6 series paired with Galaxy S24, prior to public availability later this year.
Utilizing Samsung’s SmartThings ecosystem, Samsung is demonstrating how the home can be transformed into a space for healthier living. Users can control connected lights to automatically adjust for better sleep quality or set alerts as reminders to take medication. Additionally, it enables users to track exercises and monitor heart rate and calories burned in real-time while following a fitness video on a connected TV, all simultaneously.
The Samsung Galaxy Experience booth at MWC 2024 is situated in Hall 3 of the Fira Barcelona Gran Via.
