Road maintenance projects advancing on schedule across Kuwait: Dr Mashaan
Minister of Public Works Dr Noura Al-Mashaan affirmed that field work for Kuwait’s comprehensive road maintenance projects is progressing steadily and in full accordance with the established plans.
In a press statement, Minister Dr Al-Mashaan said supervisory teams were present on Wednesday in Al-Nuzha, Block 3, to monitor on-site progress and ensure that implementation is moving forward as scheduled.
She noted that the area is currently undergoing the process of the final asphalt layer (Type 3), with a thickness of 5 cm, following the completion of preliminary infrastructure works. These included the cleaning and inspection of rainwater drainage systems and sewage networks, reports Al-Rai daily.
Al-Mashaan emphasized that work is advancing smoothly and efficiently, paving the way for the next phase of the project as part of ongoing national efforts to upgrade road infrastructure and enhance public safety.
