
The Embassy of India, Kuwait in collaboration with the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature (NCCAL) and Kuwait Heritage Society and National Archives of India and Ministry of information and Broadcasting of India is organizing an exhibition ‘Rihla-e-Dosti’ to showcase the rich history of 250 years of India-Kuwait relationship of India from May 19 to May 24, 2025 at the National Library of Kuwait.
Open to the public, the exhibition will highlight the enduring legacy of cooperation and shared heritage chronicling everything from early trade routes to contemporary collaborations in politics, culture, and development.
The exhibits include an array of invaluable artefacts, manuscripts, documents, rare books, personal letters, coins, Indian rupee (legal tender in Kuwait till 1961) and other significant items from shared past of both nations. The event will also feature Cultural performances and Panel discussions on various facets of bilateral ties between India and Kuwait.
