Rescue Police conduct traffic, security campaigns in Hawalli Governorate

The General Department of Rescue Police carried out targeted traffic and security operations in Salwa and Rumaithiya in the Hawalli Governorate, targeting violators of residence and labor laws, deter unsafe behavior and strengthen field security.

According to a ministry statement, the campaigns yielded significant results:

  • 524 traffic violations were issued, and a wanted vehicle was seized.
  • Two individuals with outstanding arrest warrants were apprehended.
  • Seven people were arrested for possession of narcotics and alcohol.
  • Nine vehicles were impounded for violations, and seven wanted vehicles were seized.
  • Five individuals were detained for being in an abnormal state.
  • Seven violators of residency and labor laws and five individuals with absence orders were arrested.
  • One person wanted for criminal execution was taken into custody.
  • One individual was referred to precautionary detention, and another to the Juvenile Prosecution.

The General Department of Rescue Police emphasized that these intensive campaigns will continue across various areas, with strict legal action taken against anyone violating laws. The initiative is aimed at maintaining public security and enhancing traffic safety.
