‘Reflections’ project to transform Kuwait Towers park into cultural, artistic destination

  • The Kuwait Towers garden is undergoing a transformation into an artistic, cultural, and historical hub, with a project launched in February 2026 to integrate the park with the iconic 187-meter-high towers.
  • The area, located on the Arabian Gulf Road, includes a cafe, and offers scenic seaside views, a walking trail, and serves as a popular photographic spot.

The Tourism Projects Company has announced the launch of the “Reflections” project, a new cultural initiative designed to transform Kuwait Towers Park into an immersive destination blending art, culture, and history. The project officially began on Saturday and will run until May 14.

In a press statement, the company explained that the initiative — implemented in cooperation with a specialized international firm — presents interactive artistic installations and reflective visual experiences, offering visitors an exploratory journey inspired by the architectural and cultural legacy of the iconic Kuwait Towers.

The project is described as the first experience of its kind in Kuwait, drawing inspiration from the story of one of the country’s most prominent national landmarks. It highlights the towers’ symbolic role as an expression of national identity, resilience, and continuity, reflecting the nation’s journey through generations of ambition, achievement, and shared memory, reportsAl-Rai daily.

Organizers noted that the initiative includes a café within the park and a vibrant community space designed to encourage interaction among visitors while reinforcing the site’s artistic and cultural atmosphere. The program will also feature live musical performances and a range of seasonal cultural activities throughout the project’s duration.

The Tourism Projects Company emphasized that the initiative aligns with its broader strategy to develop national destinations and reposition them as dynamic cultural and tourism hubs through partnerships with specialized creative organizations. The public has been invited to experience the project, with a full schedule of seasonal events set to be announced to coincide with the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.

The company, a wholly state-owned entity, oversees the operation, development, and management of tourism, entertainment, and recreational facilities across Kuwait, working alongside government bodies, private-sector partners, and international companies to advance the country’s tourism and leisure industry.
