Rayad Group takes responsibility for misleading UAE ‘Lifetime Golden Visa’ claims

The ICP had earlier denounced reports of a so-called “lifetime Golden Visa” being offered to various nationalities. It emphasized that only official UAE government platforms handle such applications, and any advisory entity has no authority or approval to process or guarantee visas.

A Dubai-based company at the center of misleading claims about a so-called “lifetime UAE Golden Visa” has taken full responsibility for the confusion, following a firm denial from UAE authorities.

In an exclusive statement with the Khaleej Times, the Rayad Group admitted its involvement in promoting a nomination-based initiative referencing a fixed fee of Dh100,000. The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) had earlier issued a clarification rejecting the existence of any such lifetime visa scheme.

“We acknowledge the recent public and media discussions surrounding the initiative,” Rayad Group said. “It was part of an exploratory collaboration with licensed immigration partners to assess the feasibility of offering advisory support for eligible Golden Visa applicants.”

The company stressed that all decisions on Golden Visas are strictly handled by the UAE government authorities, and its role was only to provide optional private advisory services, without guaranteeing outcomes or bypassing legal procedures.

“We fully support the ICP’s statement affirming that all applications must go through official government channels,” Rayad added. “We apologize unreservedly for the confusion caused and take responsibility for ensuring our future communications comply with UAE regulations.”

Rayad Group acknowledged that some remarks made by its Managing Director were “misplaced” and contributed to the misunderstanding about its role and the nature of the service. The company made it clear that no guaranteed visa, fixed-price program, or lifetime residency product currently exists.

“Rayad Group does not offer, endorse, or support any such arrangement,” it said. The group also announced it will discontinue all private advisory services related to Golden Visas going forward.

VFS ETM Services-FZCO, part of VFS Global, also issued a statement clarifying its limited involvement. It said it had a non-exclusive referral agreement with Rayad Group and was only responsible for directing interested individuals to Rayad.

“We merely received enquiries and had no role in evaluating or processing visa applications,” VFS ETM said, affirming full compliance with UAE laws.

The ICP had earlier denounced reports of a so-called “lifetime Golden Visa” being offered to various nationalities. It emphasized that only official UAE government platforms handle such applications, and any advisory entity has no authority or approval to process or guarantee visas.

The ICP also warned of legal action against those responsible for spreading false information and attempting to exploit individuals seeking residence in the UAE.

“We urge the public to rely on official sources such as the ICP website or call center (600522222) for accurate information,” the authority stated.
