
Kuwait’s Meteorology Department recorded varying rainfall amounts across the country on Monday, with the Wafra accounting for the heaviest rainfall at 4.2 mm. In contrast, the Al-Abraq farm received the lowest amount at 0.3 mm.
Acting Director of the Meteorological Department, Dharar Al-Ali, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the country has been affected by a low-pressure system accompanied by a deep atmospheric depression.
This weather pattern resulted in occasional thunderstorms of varying intensity in some areas, lasting through Monday.
Automatic weather monitoring stations said the Kuwait International Airport recorded 1.4 mm, while Al-Rabia and Ras Al-Salmiya saw 0.6 mm, and Al-Jahra received 0.4 mm.
