QNA employees enhance skills at KUNA’s training program

The KUNA Center for Media Capacity Development hosted a training program under the title ‘Data Analysis and Documentation’, which was attended by several employees from the Qatar News Agency (QNA).

Headed by experts Dr. Abdullah Badran, Ibtihal Al-Muzaini, and Hanadi Al-Sanafi from KUNA’s Information and Research Center, the program delved into understanding the center’s functions and its various departments, reports Al-Jarida daily.

Scheduled to run until February 15, the training program covers the responsibilities of the Information Department, its objectives, and the daily documentation of operations. It also explores the Scout Department’s role, its objectives, operational mechanisms, news material archiving, and documentation techniques.

The program features hands-on workshops focusing on documentary materials, news reports, and analyses published by KUNA. Participants will also engage in practical tours of the Information and Research Center and its departments, along with a field visit to the Kuwaiti Research Center.

Established in December 1995, the “KUNA” Center for Media Capacity Development stands as a pivotal institution for media training. Over the years, it has conducted numerous training programs across various media domains, striving to enhance personal and professional capabilities in media work.
